Bright Lights Additional Training

Bright Lights offers a variety of spaces where families can be trained in the theatre arts.

Students looking to build their skills and those new to the stage can benefit from the personalized attention and direction in smaller Masterclasses and Workshops. They will explore different aspects of theatre, including acting, dance, and voice skills, while learning musical theatre content that fits within the class's theme.

***One Masterclass is required for 2nd-3rd grade students without previous theatre experience before auditioning for a Bright Lights show.

Additionally, Bright Lights offers Parent Equipping Panels to train parents on a variety of topics. These panels are intended to give parents the chance to gain understanding and insight into the theatre world. The second half of the panel includes a Q&A so parents can get their specific questions answered.

There are not currently any masterclasses scheduled for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Please consider joining us for camp this summer!

During our"Keys to Auditioning" Parent Equipping Panel, we discussed logistics (how to dress, what to prep, general tips, what to expect in a BLT audition specifically), as well as discuss how to navigate the emotions that come with the comparison and rejection aspects of casting.

We recorded the panel and believe it to be a comprehensive resource on guiding your student through the process of auditioning. You can purchase access to this recording below.

Once the purchase is complete, you will receive an email with the link to the recording.

Thanks to our amazing church partners, we are excited to have our program calendar set so early in the year.  Almost everything is locked down. We are still searching for qualified directors who are willing to join our production directing teams this year.  A Masterclass prerequisite is required for 2nd-3rd graders to participate in Matilda Jr., but the Masterclass prerequisite will be waived for all students hoping to participate in Finding Nemo Jr.
