Summer
Shows
Rehearsals for shows are fast-paced and assume students know basic rehearsal etiquette, dance moves, and acting terms. In a masterclass, students will explore different aspects of theatre, including acting, dance, and voice skills, while learning musical theatre content that fits within the class's theme. Younger students looking to build their skills and those new to the stage benefit from the personalized attention and direction in smaller Masterclasses and Workshops.
***One Masterclass is required for 2nd-3rd grade students without previous theatre experience before auditioning for a Bright Lights show.

Thanks to our amazing facility partners, we are excited to have our program calendar set so early in the year. Almost everything is locked down. We are still searching for qualified directors who are willing to join our production directing teams this year. A Masterclass prerequisite is required for 2nd-3rd graders to participate in Dear Edwina Jr.

Student Technical Crew
Each one of our productions is made possible by our incredible technical crew. If your student would rather serve backstage than perform center stage, this crew is the perfect place for them. Working alongside our Technical Director and Stage Manager, they will be responsible for bringing the show to life.
They can choose to learn more about any aspect of technical theatre (stage management, costumes, set, lights, sound, makeup, etc.) and be as involved in the process as they would like.
